Voices Of Masada launch their eagerly anticipated debut album
"Four Corners" at Pity For Monsters DEAD ROCKSTARZZ night in
Hoxton on Friday October 22nd.

The acclaimed London Four piece have gigged solidly over the last year
building a strong following and have garnered favourable reviews in
many magazines etc. The sadly defunct Pity For Monsters fanzine first
gave the band the thumbs up over a year ago and we are delighted to
have the honour of hosting the bands album launch. Classic gothic rock
featuring the vocal prowess of Raymon Shah and the Cool musicianship
of guitar player Eddie, Bassist Danny and 2nd guitarist Rob.....Four
Corners indeed making the firepower of the British Square seem nothing
in comparison.

Full details.

As part of the "Unholy Trinity" of gigs.

And were really good.

I did spend all gig thinking how they'd sound ten thousand times better
with real drums. Drum machines are the curse of goth music. The Sisters of
Mercy have a lot to fucking answer for.

We left after Bats In The Belfry because of general gig fatigue. Bats were
okay, went on a bit but we enjoyed them.

Quidam could be the worst fucking thing ever. I would say that literally
all of their songs sounded like "The Lord's Prayer" by Siouxsie with Sid
Vicious on drum machine, but that would sound interesting. They try and -
the important point - fail to achieve a truly bracing atonality. Someone
made the fatal mistake of telling the shrieker at an early age that she
could sing. IS THERE A POINT TO THIS BAND?

(I say these things as a paying customer who spent a pound out of four on
the fucking band. So there.)
